John Maxwell, in his book, “The 360-Degree Leader,” puts it this way, “It’s not hard to stay with the decisions you make when they are based on your values. Decisions that are not consistent with our values are short lived.” John goes on to say, “Just as consistency can create power in your personal life, it can also create power in your leadership. Leaders set the tone and the pace for all the people working for them. Therefore, they need to be what they want to see.”
At BG AD Group our values are based on helping our clients exceed their sales or income goals and expectations. As my partner and CEO, Darien Southerland states, “People will forget what you say, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
Is there a difference between what you believe and what you do, do you live your values?
